I don’t know why I waited this long, but I finally let Nolan sit in the shopping cart instead of being carried in the ergo. He could see better than in the ergo, so he really enjoyed yelling at people and flirting with women.

7 Months Old
- Weight: 19lbs 8oz (is in size 12 months)

Nolan:
- Babbles and says “Mama”
- Loves imitating sounds, such as growling/yelling and motorboating
- Pulls himself up to stand and will take a couple of steps
- Sits steadily
- Crawls very fast
- Enjoys climbing
- Is getting better at falling ‘safely’
- Loves baked cinnamon apples, broccoli, chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers…
- Can drink out of a sippy cup
- Can open drawers and is getting into everything
- Will pull blankets off his head to play peak-a-boo (and will try to find me if I hide)
- Enjoys banging objects
- His attention span has gotten much longer and it is obvious he is learning cause and effect (pulls lever on gumball machine to get a prize / pushes buttons to hear music…)
Hand project I’ve been working on. I made the prints when Nolan was 7 weeks old.

Edit: We started reading a book to Nolan called, “That’s Not My Monster.” Pepper started saying that. Then Pepper started saying, “that’s not my monster, hairy eyebrows” - a line from the book. Then one day it sounded like Pepper said, “that’s not my monster, hairy ass,” which later became “that’s not my ass.” We didn’t teach him to say any of it, he picks up sentences he likes and creates his own sayings.
